Moonshot by TechCabal is a premier annual conference in Lagos, Nigeria, that convenes African founders, investors, and policymakers to discuss, showcase, and accelerate tech innovation across the continent.
Lagos Fashion Week (LagosFW) is a fashion platform that drives the Nigerian and ultimately, the African fashion industry; by bringing together buyers, consumers and the media to view the current collections of designers at a four (4) day event in the fashion capital of Lagos, Nigeria.
The CANEX Weekend, organized by Afreximbank, brings together creative professionals from Africa and the diaspora to showcase, network, and discuss business opportunities. It focuses on sectors like music, film, fashion, literature, and art, aiming to strengthen Africa’s creative economy through investment and collaboration.
The Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) is a premier annual week-long event in Lagos, Nigeria, dedicated to showcasing African cinema, fostering talent, and bridging the gap between African filmmakers and the global industry.
ART X Lagos is West Africa’s premier international art fair to showcase contemporary art from Africa and its diaspora. Over the last 10 years, it acts as a cultural anchor featuring exhibitions, live music (ART X Live!), talks, and film, attracting thousands of visitors.
Through the World Bank program, DIME, Edutainment (entertainment-education) leverages media like movies, TV shows, social media, music, and games for educational and developmental goals.

Week One of the immersion focuses on Nigeria’s rapidly expanding business and technology ecosystem, offering delegation members direct exposure to the companies, policymakers, investors, and innovators shaping the future of Africa’s largest economy. Participants will engage in high-level discussions, private meetings, and ecosystem visits designed to reveal both the opportunities and realities of doing business in Nigeria and across Africa. This week is structured to facilitate strategic partnerships, investment conversations, and cross-border collaboration between U.S. leaders and Nigeria’s most influential economic actors.
